Santa Banned from Making Commercial Endorsements by International Treaty

A lot of alive today people don't even know that it was the North Pole Free Trade Zone Treaty of 1978 that banned Santa from making commercial endorsements. Without those big advertising dollars to fund NPE (North Pole Enterprises), Santa has had to rely on NGO handouts, sale of re-purposed cookies, and the little bit the elves make turning tricks for those ice road truckers.
