Abbottabad to Build Amusement Park

I find it very interesting that the town in Pakistan where Osama Bin Laden was killed has come up with $30 to 50 million to build an amusement park.

The project, which will take five years to complete, will include “a zoo, water sports, a mini-golf course, rock climbing and paragliding,” according to Reuters — as well as a cultural heritage park.

Syed Aqil Shah, sports and tourism minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, told the Associated Press that “the development is not intended to counter Abbottabad’s negative reputation following bin Laden’s discovery there.” Rather, it is part of a revival of recreational and cultural activities in the province.
