More Guns Are In Fewer Hands

As we try, in spite of the NRA, to move forward to reduce gun violence in Amercia, there is one very important statistic I don't think it getting enough consideration. The numbers show that while the number of guns in America has increased significantly, especially over the past 20 years, fewer and fewer households own guns. This clearly shows those guns are being concentrated in the hands of fewer people. In virtually every one of these mass shootings, we learn the perp had multiple guns in their possession or available. We really need to flag, focus on and investigate people making multiple gun purchases, especially over a short time period. Indeed, I think we should have 100% background checks and purchase reporting, with a hard, enforced limit on the number of weapons a person may buy in 30, 60, 90, 180 & 365 day counting periods.
