The rule was aimed at dropping coal plants’ sulfur dioxide emissions by 73 percent and nitrogen oxide by 54 percent, down from 2005 levels, to reduce pollution in states downwind of the plants, according to Reuters. But the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit told the EPA "No."
