A Most-Important Date in History: February 28

DNA, Color TV, and The Most-Divine Princess-Mother Of Madison County All Have Birthdays!

On this day in 1953, Cambridge University scientists James D. Watson and Frances H.C. Crick announce that they have determined the double-helix structure of DNA, the molecule containing human genes.

A color TV from Westinghouse, which sold for $1,295, became available in the New York area on February 28, 1954 and is generally agreed to be the first production receiver using NTSC color offered to the public.

On this date in 1981, in the far-western frontier region of the Republic of Texas, the future Most-Divine Princess-Mother Of Madison County was born in a simple, one-room, adobe Army medical hut. It was clear from the beginning she was slated for greatness, eagerly and happily announcing her appearance with a pretty pout.

Now focused on raising her own young royals--the Maharaja Elect Emett, Crown Prince of The backyard, and The Maxime Divina Princess in Expectantes, Miss Chloe Rose--The Most-Divine Princess-Mother Jessica rules with her regent husband, Christopher, Potentate Omnes Lustrat of the Southern Territories.
