Architecture as Art, Snapshots of Austin

I enjoy art wherever I find it, and Austin provides abundant examples. The city's collection of buildings, from old to new, are to me what foremost defines a city's character and aesthetics. So while walking down Guadalupe the other day, I passed this wonderful 19th Century structure. Originally built by John Bremond in 1886, it now serves as the headquarters of the Texas Classroom Teachers Association.
